Mechanical & Flow Verification

Enhanced Well Water Inspection

Your well water may look clean—but that doesn’t mean it’s safe. Private wells aren’t regulated, and contaminants like bacteria, nitrates, and metals can go unnoticed without proper testing. An enhanced well inspection helps identify risks in both the system and the water—so you can protect your health and your home.

Service Overview

Our Enhanced Well Inspection verifies the safety, functionality, and performance of your private well system — protecting your home’s most important water source.

Important Note

The Enhanced Well Inspection assesses system performance but does not include lab water testing. For water safety testing, see the Water Quality section or our bundled packages.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an Enhanced Well Inspection?

An Enhanced Well Inspection is a professional evaluation of your private well system’s safety, performance, and condition. It measures water flow and pressure, checks the integrity of tanks and components, tests electrical systems, and ensures sanitary operation — providing peace of mind that your home’s water source is functioning properly.

How is this different from a basic well inspection?

Our Enhanced Well Inspection goes beyond a visual check. We use electrical testing, digital flow-rate measurements, and system pressure evaluations to assess both mechanical and structural performance. You’ll also receive a written report with test data and recommendations — not just a pass/fail summary.

Does this inspection include water quality testing?

No — the Enhanced Well Inspection focuses on system performance and integrity. For water safety and contamination testing, please see our Water Quality Testing Service, which includes certified lab analysis for bacteria, nitrates, lead, and other common contaminants. Many clients choose to bundle both services for complete well assurance.

What does the WelGard® Protection Warranty cover?

Every Enhanced Well Inspection includes a complimentary 3-month WelGard® Protection Warranty, which provides limited coverage for certain well equipment failures discovered after inspection. This warranty offers added peace of mind at no extra cost — protecting you while you address any findings.

How long does the inspection take?

Most Enhanced Well Inspections take 60–90 minutes, depending on well depth, accessibility, and system configuration. We recommend ensuring that power and water are active before your appointment so all components can be fully tested.

Do you provide results the same day?

Yes. Your digital report — including measurements, findings, and recommendations — is typically delivered the same day as your inspection. If lab water testing is added, those results follow within 2 business days after lab receipt.

How often should I schedule a well inspection?
  • Homeowners: Once every 12 months to ensure consistent performance and early detection of wear or contamination.
  • Homebuyers: Always before closing to verify well capacity and compliance with lender or local requirements.
  • After Repairs or Drought: Schedule a re-inspection anytime your well experiences pressure drops, water discoloration, or recent maintenance.
